YarnScope is operated by DJUMP, MB (Klaipėda, Lithuania). This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to take it back.
1. Information we collect
Account: email address and a chosen display name. Stash data: yarn brands, colors, dye lots, yardage, photos, and the projects you connect them to — all owned by you. Device info: a coarse device type and language for analytics, and a hashed IP for rate-limiting. Camera: scanned ball-band images are processed on-device or transiently on our servers and not stored remotely unless you choose to attach a photo to a yarn.
2. Information we do not collect
No advertising trackers. No cross-site cookies. No selling of personal data, ever. No precise location.
3. How we use your information
To provide the service (storing your stash, syncing across devices). To send transactional emails (waitlist confirmation, contact replies, account events). To improve the OCR with anonymised feedback when you correct a misread field. We do not profile you.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored with Supabase in EU data centres, encrypted at rest and in transit. Backups are encrypted. We follow industry-standard security practices.
5. Third-party services
Supabase (database & auth, EU). Resend (transactional email, US — only the address you give us). PostHog (product analytics, optional). RevenueCat (subscriptions, mobile only). Apple/Google (OAuth sign-in, if you use it).
6. Your rights (GDPR)
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, export it, or delete it at any time. Write to start@djump.io and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children's privacy
YarnScope is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age.
8. International users
The data controller is DJUMP, MB, Šilutės pl. 35G-36, LT-94105 Klaipėda, Lithuania, EU. By using YarnScope you consent to the transfer of personal data to the jurisdictions named above, with safeguards in place.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (waitlist subscribers) or in-app (users). The latest version always lives on this page.
